Hydrogen Sensors from NTM Now Approved for Use in Hazardous Locations

NTM Sensors are pleased to announce that NTM SenseH2TM hydrogen sensors are now being shipped with an approved label for UL and ATEX classification for hazardous locations and that they are officially listed in the UL database. Checking the UL database from the UL website is the best way to confirm that any sensor is officially recognized by UL.

The NTM SenseH2TM hydrogen sensor offers its customers an accurate, reliable, and selective hydrogen sensor with fast response and recovery times and robustness to widely varying ambient conditions. The sensor meets all the requirements for use in Class I, Division 2 and Zone 2 hazardous locations per the UL60079-15 and EN60079-15 standards, and has been officially certified by Underwriters Laboratories.

“UL, CE and ATEX approvals provide our customers with confidence that the NTM SenseH2TM hydrogen sensor meets their demands for proof of its safety,” said Fujio Hayashi, Director of Business Development for NexTech Materials, parent company of NTM Sensors. “Classification to these U.S. and international standards enables customers requiring Hazardous Location certification of their systems a proven sensor solution for meeting these stringent requirements.”

NTM SenseH2TM products are available directly through NTM Sensors, its sister division, fuelcellmaterials.com, and through NexTech’s sales distribution network.
