American Scientific Resources declared that it has been awarded a second purchase order from Syner-Med (Pharmaceutical Products), its Ireland and UK distributor for 5,000 VeraTemp non-contact type thermometers for the retail market and 1,000 VeraTemp for the clinical and professional market, to be supplied this quarter.
In the skilled market, physicians, nurses and other healthcare workers rely on the non-contact VeraTemp thermometers for its benefit to control infection with its outstanding features and it has now has been marketed to the UK’s National Health Service. The VeraTemp thermometer is based on dynamic thermometry technology which records an individual’s temperature without contacting the patient’s skin by just aiming the device at the individual’s forehead and hitting a button where the patient need not stay awake during the process.
