Clark Introduces Ceramic Sensor Based Differential Pressure Indicator

Clark Solutions has used its established ceramic sensor technology to introduce its 699 Series Differential Pressure Transmitters and Indicators which can be utilized with non corrosive gases and air.

They provide sensor signals that are adjusted for temperature compensation. These are available as standard current or voltage outputs. They are useful for measuring low differential room pressures for process clean room and laboratory applications, besides being used for various low pressure monitoring applications for inflated building pressures and hospital infectious disease rooms.

They are available through three configurations with different cost and functional levels. The configuration 1 relates to a transmitter having ranges that are field selectable and having zero offset configurations and factory preset output signal. The configuration 2 has a DIP switch with 10 positions, enabling selection of response time, output signal and range in the field. Additional span adjustment in the range chosen is possible through a potentiometer. The configuration 3 has a LED display with complete field function programming through a programming button besides having a range setting and fine tuning of zero offset, response time, display light settings, square root extraction, and span, among others.

Some of the specifications of the devices include less than 20 ms dynamic response time, polycarbonate PC housing, silicone diaphragm, pressure measurement units in inches w.c., MM w.c, AI203 (96%) / glass sensor and a neutral and air gases medium.

The sensor can be used in HVAC applications like VAV control, inflated building control, fume hood flow monitor, air flow monitor and clean room and various pressurized space monitors.
