Implant Sciences Introduces Printing Kit for QS-H150 Explosives Trace Detector

Implant Sciences has announced the availability of the QS-H150 Printing Kit for use with the QS-H150 handheld explosives trace detector. The newly developed printing kit will enable users to print the detection results and maintain a permanent record of all screening activity.

The QS-H150 Printing Kit includes a thermal printer along with an interface cable and paper. The small system can be configured for manual or automatic printing modes. Each printout of screening activity will include thorough sample information including system performance parameters, substances detected as well as time and date.

The Chief Executive Officer of Implant Sciences, Glenn D Bolduc stated that the ability to print the screening results will increase the value and functionality provided by the QS-H150 trace detector in air cargo and checkpoint screening, making it the preferred choice of customers and security professionals across the globe.

The Quantum Sniffer QS-H150 explosives trace detector is a handheld detector that uses Ion Mobility Spectrometry to analyze a sample to detect homemade, commercial and military grade explosives present in trace amounts. It is a self-calibrating, low-maintenance design devoid of radioactive materials. It can simultaneously detect particulate and vapor and enables identification of threats. The US Homeland Security has designated the QS-H150 as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism technology.

Implant Sciences, headquartered in Wilmington, MA also offers the QS-220 bench-top detector for narcotics and explosives ideal for use in airports and borders.
