Mitsubishi IP-addressable LCD monitor for Videoconferencing Applications

The Presentation Products Division of Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America willexhibit its novel 65-inch MDT651S LCD monitor that has been designed for digital signage, videoconferencing, and conventional conference room visual display applications.

This LCD is among the first monitors that provide rear and front ambient sensors for detecting lighting conditions in two regions, unlike most digital commercial displays currently sold in the market. These sensors are able to adjust the brightness level of the monitor depending on its readings for balancing the ambient light’s brightness automatically, irrespective of the ambient light’s brightness behind or in front of the monitor.

When these LCDs are placed in locations where the light is constantly changing, the user is able to realize savings in energy by lowered power consumption whenever the ambient light is darker. The brightness of the monitor’s display is increased automatically whenever the sun comes out and shines, so that the optimal image can be formed according to the lighting condition.

This LCD monitor can lower the quantity of required components and streamlines installation. It removes the cable clutter by virtue of its in-built CAT5 receiver. This receiver maintains the quality of the image consistent, even when cable connecting the display with the source is 150 metres. This CAT5 cable can also be used to deliver RS-485 and video signals simultaneously, obviating the requirement of another distance-restricting serial-control cable.  Users will also be able to daisy chain a maximum of five monitors, rendering content delivery more efficient and easy.

The panel life of the LCD is prolonged by utilizing its multi level screen saver and programmable rescheduling features. Whenever the internal temperatures cross a laid down threshold the cooling fan is activated automatically. The monitor’s structural design enables portrait and landscape display for eye-catching, distinctive and innovative installations.

The monitor provides total 1920 x 1080 resolution for accurate, clear HD video and computer graphics  and HD video with a 2000:1 high-contrast, 700 cd/m2 high screen that offers impressively vivid, sharp, images and information in brightly lit public locations also.
