The Modal Shop has launched a new version of the Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS) Interface Kit that corresponds with the TEDS sensors over the PC’s USB port. The 400B76 Interface Kit has a graphical interface that enables users to write TEDS to, or read TEDS from, sensors with a simple click of the mouse.

The 400B76 Interface Kit supports numerous TEDS sensors that are IEEE 1451.4 complaint. The interface kit supports major types of transducers such as microphone preamplifiers, charge amplifiers, impedance heads, impact hammers, tri-axial accelerometers and single-axis accelerometers. The 400B76 also supports IEEE preliminary templates and IEEE 1451.4 templates.
The TEDS interface kit can be used to update, verify and read TEDS sensor format and information such as smooth transducer operation and calibration information.
