Luster LightTech Group Joins the Multimedia over Coax Alliance as Associate Member

Further evidence of a growing international market for home networking, smart homes and a robust Internet backbone, Luster LightTech Group has joined the Multimedia over Coax Alliance(MoCA®) as an Associate member.

Luster is a manufacturer of networking products for applications in both residential and commercial environments. It wisely recognizes the value of using coax and a secure transport technology standard such as MoCA to ensure China's continued end user satisfaction in the growing market for digital IPTV and HD delivery.

China is the fastest growing country in terms of digital TV and HD content adoption with more than 289.25 million digital TV households at the end of 2014, according to Digital TV Research Report.

"The product portfolio of Luster combined with the company's long-term experience with service providers will greatly enhance the Alliance's reputation in the Chinese home networking network market," said Charles Cerino, MoCA President. "We welcome Luster to the Alliance and look forward to their insight and contribution in helping secure adoption of MoCA technology in China."

"MoCA is an excellent technology standard used to create a consistent Internet delivery and video entertainment backbone as well as secure and robust Wi-Fi extension, which are critical features in any network," said Yates Yao, president of Luster LightTech Group. "We believe offering products with MoCA technology will increase customer satisfaction and enable service providers to cost-effectively manage their network."
