Opgal Optronic Industries Ltd., a leading global provider of innovative infrared imaging systems and advanced vision and surveillance solutions, has notched up several significant orders of Vumii's Accuracii XRU uncooled multi-sensor camera systems in recent months, most of them in the realm of border security.

"Customers have chosen the Accuracii XRU for protection of borders and critical infrastructure, because its performance is almost as that of a cooled thermal system, at a significantly lower price - not to mention the total cost of ownership due to higher reliability and lower maintenance," he added.
Accuracii XRU features an advanced high resolution 17μ thermal camera with 25-225mm continuous zoom, enabling detection of a person up to 7km away. It is also equipped with a powerful regular camera for daytime assessment, and an optional Laser Range Finder. Offering simple integration and ease of use, the rugged and reliable system is designed and certified to IP66, hot, cold, dusty and other harsh environments. Opgal is offering an ITAR free version of Vumii's Accuracii XRU to customers in Europe and Asia.
