Utah University Researchers Develop Advanced Game Controller

Researchers at the University of Utah have developed an advanced video game controller capable of providing the player with directional cues that is accomplished by stretching and pulling the thumb tips in various directions to simulate actions including recoiling of a gun, tugging a fishing line and feeling waves. The game controller was showcased at the 2012 IEEE Haptics Symposium.

Northrop Grumman Unveils MEMS Sensor-Based Attitude and Heading Reference System

Northrop Grumman has unveiled the LCR-300 attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) at the HELI-EXPO 2012 which was held from 12 to 14 Feb 2012. The LCR-300 AHRS has been developed by Northrop Grumman LITEF, which is a navigation systems subsidiary of Northrop Grumman.
