Impress Launches Battery-Powered Digital Pressure Gauge for Leak Testing and Pipeline Monitoring

A range of battery-powered digital pressure gauges for leak testing and pipeline monitoring are now available from instrumentation specialist Impress Sensors & Systems Ltd.

The DL01 range of digital pressure gauges are precision-manufactured devices that comprise of a digital display and a stainless steel housed pressure transmitter, which can be connected without requiring any tools.

The DL01 is designed on a modular sensor concept and so can be adapted to different mounting positions quickly and easily. This reduces the need for customers to stock a variety of digital gauges. The DL01 is characterised by its outstanding measurement performance, intuitive operation and integral data logging capabilities.

The data logger records pressure values and sensor temperature at defined intervals. These measurement intervals can be adjusted from 1s to 99 days or at a fixed time.

Collected measurement data and other relevant information (TAG, serial number, etc.) are recorded and can be displayed and processed via the integral USB 2.0 interface and optional PC software.

The DL01 range is available in nominal pressures from 0…100mbar up to 0…400bar. Permissible operating temperatures are from -10°C up to +55°C and the unit is ingress protected to IP67.

The DL01 is particularly suited to applications that require a leak test function or for pressure testing applications, where integrity of fittings and features are being tested. Installing the DL01 enables the operator to monitor for even the smallest of leaks in a pressure system due to the high accuracy and stability of the device.

Other accessories available for the DL01 range include a service carry case comprising of a calibration test pump, pump adapters, protective cap, batteries, seal set, wrench, and PTFE seal tape.
