The SENSOR+TEST 2017 Measurement Fair in Nürnberg came to a successful conclusion today. A total of 8,100 technology professionals (8,656 last year) made use of the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information on the state of the art of sensor, measuring, and testing technology at the presentation forums and the 568 exhibitors’ stands (586 last year) during the three days of the fair. With a high international share of approximately 27% among the visitors and 37% of the exhibitors, the SENSOR+TEST was able to further expand its internationality, once again confirming its position as the worldwide leading trade fair for sensors, measuring, and testing technology.

The SENSOR+TEST has always been the most important and effective platform to present our solutions for measuring technology and data visualization to an international public of professionals. Nürnberg is a time-proven, centrally located venue for the trade fair. We were very satisfied this year as well. On the second day of the fair we already had made so many contacts that our sales engineers ran out of business cards.

The two parallel AMA Conferences, SENSOR 2017 and IRS² 2017, were also well attended: The 760 conference participants were able to glean information on the state of the art and the latest research in about 200 technical presentations.

Holger Bödeker, Managing Director of AMA Service organizers, also made a satisfied impression on the last day of the fair and looking forward said, “Even if the SENSOR+TEST 2017 turned out to be a bit smaller this year, it certainly succeeded in bringing the specialists from all over the globe together. It also brought big smiles to the faces of the visitors and exhibitors. Next year we expect a growth in all key figures and a very attractive program – not least thanks to a renewed cooperation with the ettc 2018, the European Test and Telemetry Conference. The special topic, “Sensors and Measuring Technology in the Industrial Internet,” selected by the Exhibitors’ Committee for 2018 will also further this end.”

The next SENSOR+TEST will be held from 26 to 28 June 2018, again at the Exhibition Center in Nürnberg. It will be accompanied by the 19. ITG/GMA-Fachtagung Sensoren und Messsysteme.
