GAO RFID’s Gen Top RFID Reader-Writer Performs High-Frequency Desktop Applications

GAO RFID Asset Tracking, a global supplier of RFID Tags, RFID Readers and RFID software, has launched independently operating, ultra-high frequency (UHF) Gen Top RFID reader/writer for various desktop applications.

This unique RFID writer/reader can be deployed for several experimentation and validation purposes and is ideal for small sized as well as medium sized businesses, for managing government directives and for the supply chain management.

This specific model 236004 RFID reader/writer functions at a range of 860MHz to 960MHz frequency meeting EU North and America standards and has 4in read/write distance. It also satisfies the EPC Class1 Gen 1 and Gen 2 standard protocols and transmits the data to the computer using an USB drive. The Gen Top RFID reader/writer is equipped with an optical sensing unit for the automatic stimulation of the reader and for detecting the labels. The reader is IP40 certified and is enclosed in an ABS case to facilitate its working  even in  extreme conditions.
