XH Smart Tech’s Dual-Interface Biometric Card with IDEX Sensor Showcased at Mobile World Congress

Using IDEX’s newest contactless sensor, XH Smart Tech will be showcasing its new dual-interface biometric card at the 2019 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona between February 25^th and 28^th. The dual-interface card is a battery-less biometric payment card, which does not need an internal power source.

In October 2018, IDEX officially stated its collaboration with XH Smart Tech, and the two companies have been focused on speeding up the deployment of the biometric smart cards.  

XH Smart Tech is rated among the top five Chinese smart card vendors by global market share and has dispatched over 3 billion smart cards. The company has effectively passed the certification of VISA, MasterCard, China Union Pay, and other smart card industry organizations. XH Smart Tech’s customer base comprises of international and Chinese banks, including Postal Savings Bank of China, South African Post Office, Commercial Bank of Kuwait, South Africa Laxton, DenizBank in Turkey, and Orient Finans Bank in Uzbekistan.
