Sony Computer Releases PlayStation Move for its PS3 Video Game Console

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has released its new motion controller called the PlayStationMove for use in its third generation video game console, PlayStation3 (PS3).

The association of the PS3 system and the PlayStation Eye imager recognizes accurate and fine motion, absolute position and angle in 3D space of the PlayStationMove and facilitates the players spontaneously playing the game through actual involvement.

The PlayStation Move is highly precise in its performance with the advent of innovative motion sensors, encompassing a three-axis accelerometer, three-axis gyroscope, a terrain magnetic field sensing device and a color-fluctuating module that has been captured by PlayStation Eye imager, states Sony.

According to Atindriya Bose, Country Manager at Sony PlayStation, the advancement of PlayStation started with the development of innovative methods for the entertainment of the users and the EyeToy, Buzzers and SingStar microphones all facilitate enjoying the platform by using the body as the controller. He added that, the company’s PlayStation Move is the most promising control system that has ever been delivered with precise, increased conventional game experience for the enjoyment of the people.
