Elobau announces the release of ‘eloFlex’ flexible monitoring solutions for the logic regulation of sensor inputs and transmission outputs. By virtue of this functionality, the sensor type can be easily selected for every four inputs on the regulatory unit.
The consumer can select normally-open/normally-open sensors from the emergency-stop types, apart from the normally-open/normally-closed input type. In normally-open/normally-closed input type, the array in which both the contacts are triggered is not considered, but the two-hand security control operation can be chosen for the two-sensing inputs. The 24V PNP output evaluation like that in the safety light curtains can be accomplished.
The regulatory unit features four outputs, in which one or more four input sensors can be dispensed using an easily selectable logic gate such as OR, NAND, AND, XOR NOR, and XNOR. A holdup time in the range of 0 and 99.9 s can be programmed in 100 ms steps for every security output. Apart from this, an output is provided for error messages that can be coupled to an SPLC, for instance. Additional inputs are provided for checking exterior gates.
Elobau ensures the programming and inspection of the necessary designs and then evaluates the effectiveness of the safety monitoring system by means of a unique evaluation program. This functionality saves essential arrangement and evaluation programming time and expenses for the ultimate user. Every unit is precisely detected using a specific part number which tracks specific programming.
SIL 2 and SIL 3 variables are also available with the system for all the models, satisfying UL/ETL certification.
