MEDUSA System Provides Aerial Offshore Security

Aerial Surveillance Systems and OPTIMARE Sensorsysteme have released an innovative Hawker/Beechcraft King Air 350-oriented MEDUSA system called the SkyEye 350, for Oil Spill Monitoring and for providing Aerial Offshore Security. The SkyEye 350 performs risk valuation for organizing and synchronizing response efforts.

The same system is capable of delivering reliable, time-marked, geo-referenced video indication data of the event, besides providing dynamic live reporting and report production. The MEDUSA System incorporates numerous aerial imaging remote sensors into a specific network-enabled data acquirement and processing framework. In association with other remote sensing devices including underwater, satellite-oriented, and in-built buoy systems, operators can identify, interpret and investigate the oil spills.

The MEDUSA features an innovative multiple-spectral imaging system from FLIR Systems called the Star SAFIRE HD electro-optical/infrared sensing solution. This uniquely designed sensor set captures and balances intense-amplification images from low-medium-high-altitude strategic missions and wide-range covert reconnaissance.
