Aviall and AAXICO have received distributor agreements to streamline the general, regional and commercial aviation markets of Goodrich’s sensors and Integrated Systems (SIS) business.
As per the contracts, AAXICO will distribute Goodrich’s SIS products such as fuel management and quantity measurement systems, specialty heater and potable water products, temperature sensors and air data systems, while Aviall will market Goodrich’s de-icing products.
The contracts became effective on January 1, 2011 and are anticipated to cut down lead times and improve the service for SIS clients.
AAXICO‘s President, Terry Vieira, stated that the company has been distributing Goodrich’s products for more than two decades and is looking forward to marketing a wider range of SIS products.
Aviall’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Dan Komnenovich, commented that the new agreement demonstrates the company’s long-term partnership with Goodrich. The company is confident that its worldwide network of stocking and sales locations will bring value to Goodrich’s clients.
Commercial aftermarket business segment Director, Rich Feely, stated that simplifying the global distributor network will develop and improve the speed of doing business with Goodrich and the clients will benefit from improved delivery times and increased parts availability.
