Motion Sensor in Cameras for Ornithological Applications

Telescopes and binoculars manufacturer, Sherwoods Photographic, has unveiled its Brinno BirdWatchCam. It allows naturalists and ornithologists to carry on with their daily routine while the system records data that can be viewed each evening at leisure.

The user friendly system is cost- effective and suitable for every type of weather condition. Its bird motion sensor helps record movements of birds in flight with clear and high resolution footage. It has a 3m zoom lens, with features for mounting and distance coverage. It does not disturb or damage the environment or natural habitat of the bird, and also does not take pictures of unwanted creatures. It is able to capture 20 pictures at a time.
