Anti-Reflection Coating for Improved Camera Functions

Netherlands-based Adimec has unveiled the Anti-Reflection Coating (ARC) options for its QUARTZ camera series. The solutions will provide enhanced quality and precision of its cameras with reduced reflection to 0.25% of the light processed by the sensor.

The solutions come in single and multilayer configurations, with levels of safety ranging from 2 % to 0.25%. Customized solutions are also on offer to meet application-based specific levels of safety. When customized, the products offer increased maximization to meet spectral properties of the target application, depending upon the illumination, lenses and mirrors.

The solutions also increase the sensitivity of the sensing device in certain applications like  machine vision applications where too much of reflection on the sensor of more than 2% tampers with the light reflected by the device being scanned. This in turn, results in faults in measurements. The high protection levels leading to as low as 0.25% reflection, the product provides greater precision that can be achieved with their cameras.
