EarthSearch Communications, a subsidiary of East Coast Diversified Corporation, is developing the LogiBoxx RFID sensor solution for underwater pipelines and infrastructure systems.
The ability of EarthSearch’s existing pipeline monitoring system has been expanded to include monitoring and detection of underwater pipelines. The low frequency RF-based technology will enable companies to monitor their gas pipelines, electrical cables, oil drilling operations and other underwater assets. The sensors will broadcast the location of events and the exact GPS coordinates in real-time.
Disruptions, breaks or other problems within an underwater pipeline system can be quickly and effectively analyzed by system analysts, enabling rapid repair to reestablish such mission critical systems.
