Vishay Intertechnology has introduced the NTCALUG03 series of Mini Lug negative temperature coefficient thermistors, which require a mounting space of only 65 mm2 for every 0.1 mm2 and provides accurate and fast measurement across a temperature range between -40°C and +125°C with a 4 s response time.
Featuring a 5.5 mm ring tongue, the NTCALUG03 thermistors can be mounted with American studs or M2 screws. The silver-plated nickel conductor in the device allows low thermal gradient. This enables precise measurement of surface-temperature in applications with limited available space.
Optimized for heat-sink, power electronics, housing and conductor thermal management in measurement and test devices, industrial equipment and appliances, the thermistors offer electrical resistance values at 25°C to meet the noise suppression, self-heating and voltage output needs of various applications with 2% and 3% tolerance.
The series features R25 of 47, 12 or 10 kilohms. An optional 1.5 mm pitch ZHR-2 connector is also available and offers customizable screw sizes and lead lengths. Additionally, Vishay’s NTCALUG03 series is RoHS directive 2002/95/EC compliant.
