Power Distribution has upgraded its WaveStar Branch Circuit Monitoring System (BCMS) for use in IEC Distribution Panels. The BCMS solution enables scalable distribution panels to be linked in a star or daisy chain network.
The BCMS will be useful in remote monitoring and management of separate server loads. It can be used to check various parameters such as phase loss on every single panel board, kilowatt hours, voltage and frequency of current per circuit. Every BCMS kit can be used to monitor 72 circuits in a cost-effective manner. In addition, it uses the set point alarms for over and under-current conditions.
The BCMS can be used with any panel board configuration or current data centers. Designed to optimize the distribution of power, the BCMS is a custom-made management and monitoring solution and suitable for Europe’s complex data centers. The remote monitoring solution uses Internet to control the power distribution.
European Sales Director for PDI, Mathew George stated that the company’s high-performance power distribution solutions will help Europe's facilities and infrastructure operators to check and control power consumption at the circuit level.
