GPS Insight has entered into a joint agreement with SpeedGauge to provide speeding event analysis services to its customers. It has also obtained rights to certain patents from SpeedGauge.
According to Robert Donat, who is the CEO and Founder of GPS Insight, most of the company’s customers use GPS Insight to assure their drivers’ safety and also to decrease the overall fleet risk. He mentioned that the addition of posted speed limit alerts and reports would help fleet managers to gain insights into the activities and conduct of their drivers. He further stated that the company is glad to work with SpeedGauge to add this functionality to its platform.
SpeedGauge’s Co-Founder, Jonathan Hubbard commented that they are happy to work with a technically proficient and dynamic company such as GPS Insight and are looking forward to improve GPS’ software platform.
