Evoluce TWO Combines Kinect Sensor with Surface SDK Applications

Evoluce TWO is an amazing combination of the numerous possibilities of surface computing experiences and the powerful Kinect Sensor. Four users could operate simultaneously and learn and play on the 46” true multi-touch LCD as it detects over 60 inputs simultaneously.

Users could collaborate by controlling documents, photos, custom applications, videos and maps which have been created with the help of the new Microsoft Surface 2.0 SDK. The Kinect sensor’s three-dimensional depth sensing technology along with the smart MIM 3.0 multi-touch software would give rise to numerous possible multi-user applications which would greatly thrill customers and users.

The Microsoft software helps developers to create with ease applications which would take advantage of the new Evoluce TWO device. This platform would offer opportunities for innovation because of its capacity to build on the WPF 4.0, the Windows 7 and NET 4.0. The developers would benefit from the integration of the Visual Studio 2010 and the Surface SDK across Windows 7 devices. Innovative experiences arise out of the multi-touch, multi-user and object interaction features. Its slim display design would be useful in huge interactive installations in applications in education, gaming, digital signage, retail, office, museums and medical sectors. The unit with a depth of less than 18.5 cm could either be used as a separate table or easily be fitted into horizontal spaces.

A superior haptic touch feeling is provided by the scratch-resistant front glass for convenient interaction. The sensor which is fixed 100cm over the screen surface ensures superior performance along with the option of controlling applications with movements above the screen surface. It could identify three-dimensional objects and shapes on the screen and thereby even determine whether a glass is full of water or empty. The Evoluce TWO with its complete HD NEC digital signage is also available with an optional plug & play design along with MIM 3.0 and table support pre-installed on a PC.
