Integrated solutions provider, Viacam Security has launched ViaServe, an access control solution capable of managing environmental sensors, cameras, access control equipment and other monitoring devices from a remote location using a browser or Internet.
The ViaServe has been designed to recognize probes, cameras, monitors, access control hardware and sensors automatically and is compatible with third party cameras and any model of Viacam Analog cameras. The system maintains a central database of all system users. The customer can customize the parameters and preferences such as setting group policies for limited users and the administrators, indicate access control privileges and set schedules.
ViaServe also provides the customer with comprehensive reports / analytics on the access history whereby the user can view any attempts of unauthorized access such as instances when a door was held open or forced open along with information on where and when the doors were accessed.
ViaServe also collocates environmental monitoring and video surveillance into the software. A useful feature is that the software can synchronize sensor and door events with video, since cameras can be programmed to record a sensor or time event round-the-clock. A video search feature provides the sensor and door event timelines which can be instantaneously recalled to view the video from that specific time. Time-stamped recording of sensor video can be recorded for door forced, door open, unauthorized access, motion or other desired event preset by the user.
The device alerts the user of security breaches and environmental changes. Alert notifications are sent to the user via phone calls, fax, MMS, Email or Message alerts.
