QUBYX, a medical color and image management technology provider headquartered in Nice, France has announced that in the past one year, over 3000 Olorin VistaLine Monitors developed for viewing x-rays and featuring the Qubyx’s PerfectLum software and server have been installed in dental clinics across Sweden.
Designed for quality assurance and display calibration, Qubyx PerfectLum software aids by enhancing the image precision of the Olorin displays. This provides dentists with the most accurate x-ray images. The Olorin monitors feature front luminance sensors and hardware look up table(LUT) that allows for automatic calibration and can be controlled using the PerfectLum server software.
The Director of Qubyx, Marc Leppla stated that the Olorin displays are equipped with an internal LUT, backlight stabilization technology and a front sensor, which adds to its reliability and consistency. The collaboration between Olorin and QUBYX has provided a solution to ensure improved performance among Sweden’s dental practitioners.
The display management software enables easy quality control by QA technicians. An accurate diagnosis is made possible by the high-precision images provided by the PerfectLum-calibrated displays. Furthermore, the PerfectLum software helps save both time and cost since calibration and monitoring tasks can be set up from the central server. The display quality in the Olorin monitors can be maintained for extended periods of its functional life, thus allowing the dental clinics to save money since the displays do not require updating from time to time.
