An online national retailer dealing in fitness electronics, the Heart Rate Watch Company has voted Wahoo Fitness’ Fisica Sensor Key as the leading iPhone fitness adapter.
The President of the online retail company, Rusty Squire stated that the Heart Rate Watch Company has tested all the ANT+ adapters available for iPhone and concluded that the best product was developed by Wahoo. Squire added that the customers who tested the products also seconded the decision, voting for Fisica sensor key as the best adapter. ANT+ adapters are designed to translate signals it receives from exterior sensory devices such as rhythm, foot pods, heart rate chest straps and bike speed sensors. The user is able to view the data on the screen after the app for iPhone translates the data. With the built-in GPS feature of the iPhone, it allows the phone to function as a GPS watch or bike computer. Squire concluded by stating that with the advanced capabilities of the sensor, the iPhone replaces the GPS watch, bike computer or heart rate monitor for the user to perform fitness activities anywhere, indoors or outdoors.
The only limitation faced by the GPS- based bike computer is the iPhones limited battery life in GPS mode which is just around 1 hr 45 mins. However, Wahoo Fitness is currently developing a battery pack extender to resolve the issue and serve customers who venture on bike rides or activities that are of longer duration.
