ABUS Introduces Smoke and Heat Detector for Residential Complexes

ABUS Security-Center, a manufacturer of video surveillance systems and alarm systems has introduced the HSRM30000 smoke and heat detector.

HSRM30000 ASUS Smoke and Heat Detector

The detector features a bi-sensor processor, which is capable of sensing both heat and smoke. It can be used in bathrooms, hallways and bedrooms. It is an intelligent system that can differentiate false alarms which are caused by temperature and steam/vapor fluctuations, which makes it ideal for use in household kitchens.

The HSRM30000 detector can observe a maximum area of 40m2. In case of a fire, it monitors not only the presence of spoke but also the rising temperature. This ensures enhanced protection and provides an early alarm especially in case of fires which produce smoke but no heat. This ensures a high level of protection as the system is capable of identifying and triggering an early alarm for smouldering fires that cannot be sensed easily since it produces more smoke and less heat.

The HSRM30000 smoke and heat detector has a self-test function that checks the effectiveness of the device at any time. The device has a service life of 12 years and uses a 3 V lithium battery making it ideal for use in commercial and private residential buildings. The detector is operational in temperatures between +4°C and +45°C. The 88 decibel alarm provides a reliable warning in case of a fire event. It can be mounted easily using an MHF installation system, which uses hot-meld adhesive or using the MSS installation system, which requires a simple drill.
