A commercial projector and LCD display solutions provider, headquartered in Itasca, NEC Display Solutions of America has announced the release of an advanced colorimeter sensor and an update of the SpectraView software.
The SpectraSensor Pro colorimeter has been customized for NEC and incorporates the X-Rite i1Display technology. Available as an accessory, the sensor is accompanied with the SpectraViewII software, the SVII-PRO-KIT and can be shipped with the SpectraView Series display. The SpectraViewII has been developed for color critical applications and provides repeatable, accurate solution for display profiling and calibration.
The SpectraSensor Pro is an advanced colorimeter that incorporates a next-gen optical system, calibration architecture, intelligent form factor and filter technology. This provides 5X measurement speed and sensitivity and a very high color accuracy that can be integrated with CCFL, RGB LED, white LED and other display technologies.
NEC Display Solutions’ product manager, Art Marshall explained that the SpectraSensor Pro provides desktop customers with unparalleled calibration performance with high speed and greater color accuracy. In combination with NEC’s MultiSync desktop solution, the accuracy provided by the colorimeter makes it ideal for color-critical applications such as retouching, photography and video editing.
The SpectraSensor Pro and the software update are compatible with various large screen models and all Multisynch P, 90 and PA models including PA241W-BK-SV, P241W-BK-SV, PA301W-BK-SV, PA271W-BK-SV, PA231W-BK-SV, P221W-BK-SV, LCD2190UXi-BK-SV and LCD2090UXI-BK-SV.
Effective immediately, the SpectraSensor Pro colorimeter will be incorporated in all SpectraViewII display bundles and the SpectraViewII SVII-PRO-KIT software.
