The North American electronic components distributor, Digi-Key has announced the expansion of its product offerings with the addition of Dynastream Innovations products including ANT and ANT+. A wireless and inertial technology provider, Dynastream’s RF evaluation and development kits along with RF transceivers, transmitters and receivers will be available through Digi-Key.
The Dynastream ANT wireless series is a 2.4GHz sensor network protocol and embedded system solution designed for low data rate and low power network topologies ranging from tree to personal area to peer- to-peer networks used in wellness, home health, fitness, sport and industrial automation.
Featuring more than a million installed nodes, the ANT has been engineered for the flexibility and scalability support required by wireless sensor networks that require low-power for operating on coin cell battery for extended periods. ANT provides Acknowledged, Burst and Broadcast message transaction for added flexibility in various usage scenarios. ANT features the interoperability function in ANT technology and ensures wireless communication reliability and seamless digital communication.
The Vice President –Semiconductor Products at Digi-Key, Mark Zack stated that the patents-in-motion analysis technology and the advancements of Dynastream’s product have made them a market leader in wireless solutions of ultra-low power.
Some of Digi-Key’s online resources and offerings include PTM product training modules, TechZone technology zones, Purchasing Pro, TechXchange, Scheme-it design tool for schematics and an interactive catalog. Digi-Key offers over two million products from more than 500 manufacturers.
