A strategic marketing agreement has been signed between Delta Air Lines and OnAsset Intelligence, a freight intelligence and remote monitoring solutions provider, headquartered in Irving, Texas.

As per the terms of the marketing agreement, the customers of Delta Cargo will be able to track and view GPS location data of their shipment through the Delta Cargo web portal.
The new service will provide a seamless experience for tracing and tracking cargo and will be available on all shipments across the Delta fleet encompassing 5000 flights every day, 340 destinations in 61 countries. Delta Air Lines has received FAA clearance for the installation of the SENTRY 400 Flightsafe device, manufactured by OnAsset Intelligence, on all main and connection flight, ensuring that customers can constantly access real-time information of sensitive shipment.
OnAsset is also providing GPS tracking capability to Delta Air for specialty items and other shipments that include pet cargo, hunting gear, fishing gear, jewelry cases and golf bags. Additionally, flight status details can be viewed on the Vision Platform, OnAsset’s web-based enterprise platform developed for shipment management. The SENTRY 400 Flightsafe is a wireless, multi-mode device with radio suppression feature and is capable of monitoring humidity, pressure, temperature, light, shock & vibration, motion and the location of assets.
The Senior Vice President of Delta Air, Neel Shah commented that the OnAsset GPS solution across the Delta network offers critical support and an advantage to customers who ship high value cargo.
