Red Lion Controls has announced the addition of the PAX2S Strain Gage Meters to its range of panel products.
The PAX2S has been designed to provide advanced communication and control capabilities required for weight measurement applications in truck scales, food processing andmaterial storage. It enables maintenance staff and plant engineers to improve the overall efficiency and cut down costs by providing increased accuracy in the weighing processes.
The Red Lion PAX2S displays both gross and net weight simultaneously. Furthermore, it communicates the weight in real-time to a management system or a database for reporting, monitoring and storage. This data is critical for food processing applications where the weight of each individual ingredient needs to be closely monitored and controlled. The PAX2S integrates a LCD display system that changes colors to alert operators when the weight limits are approaching or are in excess.
The indication product manager at Red Lion Controls, Jeff Thornton commented that the PAX2S is suited for both consumer and industrial environments andis applicable when two parameters need to simultaneously monitored.
The key features of the PAX2S include convenient input options for connecting pressure, strain gage or load cell sensors, programmable dual-line display, which uses green, orange and red light to highlight changes, a universal power supply as well as swappable option cards that provide investment protection.
