Aginova Releases iCelsius Digital Temperature Probes

Aginova, a manufacturer of corrosion, energy and environmental sensors, has revealed the iCelsius temperature probes designed for food inspection and to aid educators of K-12 education.

The iCelsius probes use the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad for temperature measurements by turning the device into a digital thermometer. A downloaded Apple application calculates the temperature, stores data, creates graphs and sets up alerts.

The iCelsius Inspection probes are available in four designs - the iCelsius IP4, iCelsius IP3, iCelsius IP2 and iCelsius IP1. All four probes are capable of measuring the temperature between 0OC to 100OC (32OF to 212O F) with a high accuracy of +/-0.7OC. A stainless steel probe in the device records the temperature when it comes in thermal contact with the matter. The iCelsius BBQ provides the user with the status of the food and can calculate temperatures between -30OC and 250OC (-22OF and 482OF).

In K-12 education, the iCelsius Pro aids educators to conduct experiments and demonstrate lessons by using the iPod Touch and iPad. The low-cost solution ensures a world-class learning experience for the students.

The iCelsius probes are easy-to-use temperature probes. Users can set lower and upper limits to set up an alarm that is triggered when a pre-determined limit is detected. The iCelsius solution can be used for monitoring the health of babies and to calculate the temperature of baby food.

Aginova, a Wi-Fi sensor network solutions provider, manufactures energy monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, temperature monitoring and humidity monitoring solutions.
