The GPS location technology in combination with the leak-proof performance helps parents locate stray or lost cups by providing their exact location that can be viewed on the iPhone App “My Sippy Cup Finder.”
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Munchkin, Steven Dunn stated that parents waste a lot of time in locating missing sippy cups. To tackle the frustration and time spent in locating a lost sippy cup, the leak-proof Click Lock sippy cups have been enhanced with GPS functionality to help parents save precious time and energy.
The Click Lock GPS cups are also tamper-proof to ensure that babies do not access the transmitter beacon. The GPS tracker has been permanently secured to the cups “waist” using a BPA-free band. Individual cups can be activated by downloading the app from the iTunes store and entering the barcode generated. Once registered, the beacon in the cup sends regular updates automatically to satellites, enabling parents to locate the Click Lock cup.
The award-winning Click Lock cup technology offers audio, visual and tactile cues to confirm if the lid is securely locked.
