Iconics Have Released Energy AnalytiX-Energy Management Solutions Built With Universal Data Connectivity

ICONICS, a Microsoft® Gold Certified Partner of the Year and provider of Web-enabled, industrial visualization software for Microsoft Windows® operating systems, announced the release of Energy and Facility AnalytiX version 10.7, a complete set of applications that monitor and analyze energy Cost, Consumption and the discharge of Carbon into the environment.

Designed to be BACnet and OPC complaint, Energy and Facility AnalytiX includes universal data connectivity and integrates with a wide variety of BMS systems, building equipment and electric meters.

Energy AnalytiX delivers the insight facility managers need to take decisive action, to reduce and manage utility costs and to minimize carbon footprints. Energy AnalytiX provides an easy-to-deploy calculation, aggregation, analysis and visualization toolset. It is unique in that it not only integrates to all metering data, but can integrate to all building automation systems, lighting systems, security/access control data, and IT Data, and aggregates and correlates to find relationships that effect energy use. Users gain insight into energy consumption patterns as well as the causes of consumption and can access information from the office, home or phone, as visualization is delivered via the latest Web 2.0 and Microsoft Silverlight® technologies.

Energy and Facility AnalytiX are off-the-shelf energy management solutions that focus on energy data analysis to increase efficiency and reduce overall operational costs. Facility AnalytiX, with its built in Fault Detection and Diagnostics technology, provides continuous commissioning capabilities for any building automation project.

“Energy and Facility AnalytiX provide a global view of the enterprise, and empower users to drill down to individual zones for pinpoint analysis,” said Melissa Topp, Product Marketing Manager at ICONICS. “The real power of the solutions are how data can be normalized by driving variables such as runtime, occupancy, square foot, or OAT, so that the information presented is always comparative and meaningful in a context that makes sense.”

Users can create custom KPIs and visualization dashboards, as well as specialized reports using Energy or Facility AnalytiX. Operators can be notified of energy issues or faults via SMS, Email, Phone Alerts or other popular multimedia methods.

Energy and Facility AnalytiX version 10.7 make significant improvements to reduce engineering time, and provides additional dashboard options, with the following:

  • PortalWorX™ – Simple-to-configure dashboard technology delivers the world’s leading visualization to any Web browser. Based on Microsoft SharePoint® and Silverlight®, PortalWorX™ provides customizable layouts, KPIs, GEO SCADA, charting, Excel grids, alarming, reports and many other dashboard Web parts.
  • AssetWorX™ – An Intelligent Asset Technology. Users can now define any data as properties of assets and apply sophisticated intelligence such as Energy and Facility AnaltyiX to assets. Assets can be defined to represent buildings and major items of equipment in buildings. AssetWorX significantly decreases engineering time needed to implement a system, and the intuitive Asset Navigator, provides simple and rapid navigation to items of interest, for even the largest utility operations.
