Hemisphere GPS Outback S3 Software for Configuring AutoMate Features

Supplemental software for Outback S3 has been released by Hemisphere GPS recently to help users in configuring and operating Outback Automate through the S3 user interface.

Now users will be able to configure the features of Automate, observe planting or spray data on a moving map and operate AutoMate—all via S3 touch screen interface.

Outback Automate, an automatic device for section control, can directly work with every Outback Guidance product. It provides fast return of investment. The new software enhances efficiency by permitting users to execute many Automate tasks by using the familiar S3 interface. Once users have configured AutoMate with the S3, they can start a basic planting or spray work and develop no plant/spray zones ad field boundaries. When these zones are formed, Automate switches off the implement sections entering these zones. For ensuring an overall coverage that has no overlap, sections are turned on or off by AutoMate while they are leaving or entering earlier applied regions. For total control, users will be able to create a maximum of eight no plant/spray zones and a field boundary for a job.

An action video of this software is available at www.outbackguidance.com. Outback S3 owners can download the software upgrade. An exclusive Extended Service Program (ESP) for three years is also available with the product. Outback Automate and Outback S3 are available at www.outbackguidance.com online or from select Hemisphere global distributors and Outback Guidance Centers.
