FieldView Solutions Ties up with Sensor Manufacturer to Deliver Wireless Solution

FieldView Solutions, maker of the enterprise-ready software tool FieldView, has negotiated an OEM deal with a humidity and wireless temperature sensor manufacturer for timely provision of a non-proprietary wireless system to clients. The tool facilitates energy and space optimization for existing complex data center environments.

The core platform of FieldView Solutions enables C-level executives, data center managers, facilities managers, and IT personnel to immediately observe the functioning of their vital environments. All issues related to data center operations, ranging from the cooling and power infrastructure, rack, to the IT device, are accessible immediately. The powerful reporting and metrics engine offers real-time information to help data center operators in optimizing energy efficiency, rack/room space utilization, and infrastructure resiliency.

The installation of battery-operated digital sensors is easy and inexpensive, as conduits and electricians are no longer required.  These digital sensors are dependable, simple to reposition, and highly efficient, obviating the field survey requirement.

FieldView is partnering in the hardware business with several industry leaders to deliver efficiencies and economies to end users. The two companies are collaborating in an informal way to better serve their clients.

Before this tie up, solution implementation would have taken nearly six weeks. Now, through the partnership, it is possible to deliver wireless sensors to clients within a week in most situations.

FieldView Solutions’ Chief Executive Officer Fred Dirla, informed that FieldView has been offering real-time views related to every issue of a data center operation, through an easy-to-read, user-friendly, format for quite some time. He explained that FieldView, a vendor neutral platform, is able to communicate seamlessly with any system used by the client, irrespective of communications or manufacturer protocols. He added that delivering the information through a wire-free method renders it more convenient and easier for the end user. Dirla revealed that sensors can be installed by clients or with the help of FieldView.
