MacKay Meters and Streetline, Inc. today announced a collaboration to deliver a fully-integrated smart parking package combining MacKay single- and multi-space meters with sensing technology and applications from Streetline.

It is the first MacKay single-space meter to offer solar power recharge, credit card payment and wireless remote monitoring. And now, the MacKay Guardian SOLO fully integrates with the award-winning sensing technology and smart parking applications from Streetline.
Already used in more than 30 locations in both the U.S. and Europe, Streetline's patented smart parking platform detects the presence of a car through a network of ultra-low power wireless sensors located in individual parking spaces. Data from these sensors is then made available in real time via various cloud-based applications, including ParkSight™ for analytics and reporting, Parker™ for consumer guidance, and ParkerMap™, a free, easy way to publish nearby parking information directly on any website.
MacKay Meters and Streetline are already working together in cities such as San Mateo, California.
