JLC to Distribute MicroSense Capacitive Sensors in Japan

MicroSense, LLC, a world leader in high performance, non-contact dimensional measurement and position sensing with capacitive sensors, today announced that it has signed an international distribution agreement with Japan Laser Corporation (JLC), headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

MicroSense has a large installed base in Japan, since its capacitive sensor products have been sold in Japan since the early 1980's. MicroSense capacitive sensors are used for precision position measurement by leading Japanese OEM customers in the semiconductor equipment, machine tool, hard disk drive and electronics manufacturing industries. JLC becomes the exclusive distributor, providing applications engineering, sales and service for Japanese customers.
