Lenava Launches Portable Baby Abdominal Movement Monitors

LEVANA® is thrilled to announce the launch of the Oma & Oma+ Baby Movement Monitors, Powered by SNUZA™. LEVANA has partnered with BIOSENTRONICS CC, inventors of the top-rated SNUZA Go!™ and Hero™ monitoring devices, to become the exclusive distributor of the portable baby movement monitors in the United States and Canada.

To celebrate this launch, both Oma and Oma+ models will be sold at a fraction of the suggested retail price beginning Wednesday, September 4th on MyLevana.com.

Identical to the SNUZA Go! and Hero movement monitors, Oma and Oma+ are worn clipped to the diaper at the navel. The soft sensor follows the abdominal movement of the child, sounding an audible alarm that alerts parents that their presence is required if motion stops for longer than 15 seconds. Oma+ models will vibrate against the child's abdomen after 15 seconds in an attempt to encourage the return of movement, sounding the audible alert after 20 seconds of no movement. Both movement monitors are battery-powered and completely cordless, meaning parents can keep all wires more than 3 feet from the crib for an ideal safe‐sleep environment.

"In the weeks leading up to our official product launch, powerful testimonials have been flooding in from parents, telling us that their SNUZA product helped them avoid what otherwise would have been a tragic discovery," said Raj Jain, Managing Director of LEVANA. "In addition to growing our outstanding lineup of LEVANA baby safety devices, we're most excited about bringing Oma and Oma+ into the lives of parents across North America to amplify the positive impact these monitors have had on families all over the world."
