Flexpoint’s New Alliance to Use Bend Sensors for Golf Applications

Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc., today announced they have entered into an alliance with Bend Tech, LLC and Mitch Voges of Max Out Golf for development and marketing of a shoe and golf shaft that will utilize a series of bend sensors® in a high tech training aid for golf.

He also is an innovator in the testing and evaluation of golf balls and equipment. He has a sports broadcasting background – anchoring CBS Radio's coverage of golf's major championships and broadcasting for NBC's television's coverage of the Sr. PGA Tour for three years. In addition to this, Voges has an amateur golf competition background, including participation in two U.S. Opens, two British Opens, and a Masters. Mr. Voges is a recognized expert in the golfing world, and has hands on experience in the development of cutting edge golf simulators and training devices. He pioneered the modern systems and methods for golf club fitting and developed a number of original concepts resulting in multiple U.S. Patents.

Max Out Golf was the originator of golf's high tech performance fitting systems. Max Out Golf is the Major in Golf Simulators. Not just a great toy but the ultimate golfer's tool. Their state of the art industry leading technology and High Definition Cameras accurately measure golf shot metrics. Max Out Golf Simulators are simply the best, most accurate way to improve your golf game. Max Out Golf was featured in several national golf publications along with an early spot on the Golf Channel.

Tony DeGreef, manager of Bend Tech stated, "Based on the reaction to the discussions we have had with major golf equipment and shoe manufacturers, we feel that the ability to combine shoe inserts and golf clubs to show club loading and impact using the Bend Sensor® in conjunction with a smart phone or iPad type device would have the potential of becoming the biggest training and individual use tool for golf that has ever come into the golf market. Golf has millions of enthusiasts who are looking for improvements to their individual performance. I believe that we will be able to market 100,000 units during the first six months and we should be able to sell a million units over the next couple of years."

Clark Mower, President of Flexpoint stated, "It is exciting to be working with someone of the caliber of Mitch Voges. Mitch has tremendous credibility in the golf industry and has a great feel for what is needed. His experience and contacts will prove invaluable as we complete development of the project and prepare to launch the product into the golf industry. He has been extremely helpful as we have defined the target audience and applicable technology for the project. We look forward to bringing this product to market in time for the PGA golf show in Florida early next year."
