The reduced power consumption supports fanless operation in embedded and mobile applications even when lengthy HD video playback is required. The new board has a soldered on BGA CPU providing better cooling and reliability. Available immediately is the Intel Core i7-4700EQ Mobile CPU. The LV-67M, http://www.bvm-store.com/Datasheets/LV-67M_Datasheet.pdf, runs under the QM87 Express chipset with the HD Graphics 4600 processor embedded in the processor. The high performance graphics, multiple display support, low power consumption and wealth of external interfaces make both units ideal for use in graphics-intensive multi-tasking environments such as signage, gaming, medical, defence and transportation.

Comprehensive I/O and extension support is provided, with comprehensive HD video and audio options, LVDS with +3.3/+5 and +12V supply, DVI and VGA. Gigabit LAN, PCIe 16-Slot, Mini-PCIe, USB3.0 and RS232/422/485 serial ports are provided, as is a SATAIII 6Gb/s interface with support for RAID 1, 3, 5 and 10. A GPIO interface, watchdog timer, real time clock and power management, including the new “active idle” power state, which wakes up in milliseconds.
