EIA Receives Integrator Certification for Redwall Perimeter Infrared Sensors and Redscan Laser Detectors

EIA, Inc., a leading provider of Networked Technologies and I.P. security systems integration, announced today that they have become certified integrators for the Redwall line of Perimeter Infrared Sensors and Redscan Laser Detector by Optex, the global leader in indoor and outdoor security sensors.

The Optex Redscan is an innovative laser which can detect a moving object's size, speed, and distance from the detector and process that information with a unique algorithm, which results in high-reliability detection of people and objects; Redscan can function like an invisible wall, or can create a unique detection area even for a complicated shaped area.

Glenn Taylor, SVP of EIA said, "The Redscan Laser Detector technology augments operations in some very difficult situations, due to its ability to be integrated into a centralized Video Management Software system. The laser is a wonderful enhancement to the optical detection limitations of camera systems, because the technology works in complete darkness."

EIA's engineers were trained on the Redscan Laser Detector's advanced intelligence capabilities and advanced tracking options for both wired and wireless solutions. Hajime Yamasaki, Optex's V.P. Corporate Strategy & Alliance said, "Optex is pleased to be working with EIA. Their knowledge and experience in network technologies is exceptional. Certification provides EIA's customers with innovative solutions to achieve reliable, state-of-the-art perimeter detection surveillance."

Optex is a leading security solutions company that has supplied products to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Energy as well as education, aviation, healthcare, law enforcement and transportation sectors.
