Implant Sciences Recently Shipped Partial Order of QS-B220 and QS-H150 Explosives Trace Detectors

Implant Sciences Corporation, a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security and defense markets, announced today it recently shipped a mixture of QS-B220 and QS-H150 explosives trace detectors against a $3,500,000 purchase order the Company had announced on July 18, 2013.

The total value of systems shipped so far is approximately $925,000, leaving a remaining shippable balance of approximately $2.6 million.

"A large order with an extended delivery schedule, such as this one, is important to us as we grow our business. It allows us to expand our manufacturing capability in a controlled manner, knowing that the increased capacity will be utilized," stated Implant Sciences' President and CEO, Glenn D. Bolduc. "We look forward to delivering additional systems on this order, which we expect to do over the next few months."

"Orders like this result in significant payoff for the Company," added Darryl Jones, Implant Sciences' Vice President Sales and Marketing. "We are excited that our equipment was chosen above the competition for our customer's security needs."
