Xactware Announces Remote Sensing Lab at Sixth Annual User Conference

Today, at its sixth annual user conference, Xactware announced the Xactware Remote Sensing Lab, a collaborative industry group dedicated to developing remote sensing technologies specifically for the property industry. Xactware is a Verisk Analytics business.

Noting that Xactware and its customers have a long history of collaborating on new technology, Xactware president and CEO Jim Loveland said, "Today, we are giving that long-time collaboration a new name and a new home with the announcement of Xactware's Remote Sensing Lab."

Professionals involved in all phases of the property industry will have the opportunity to collaborate on technology as it is developed and deployed. This includes beta testing new products, joining in panel discussions, collaborating with other experts, and more. The lab will focus on specific property industry applications, including underwriting, claims handling, catastrophe response, independent adjusting, personal property, structural contracting, and specialty services. Participants in the lab include experts in remote sensing, computer vision, geospatial intelligence and analysis, computer science, engineering, and geology.
