E + E Launches CO<sub>2</sub> Sensor Module with Energy-Save Options

E + E have launched its new EE892 CO2 sensor module, with an adjustable measuring interval, and can be customized to particular applications, utilizing less than 60 µA units of current. Hence it is an ideal, energy saving, battery operated tool.

It was designed specifically for high quantity production and OEM applications. The highly compact design and the digital interface, aids in integrating mobile and energy-sensitive systems, such as demand controlled ventilation and data loggers.

NDIR (infrared technology) is the basis for the CO2  load cell. This product is totally maintenance free; as it uses an auto calibrated system, patented by E + E. When the system ages, it is repeatedly compensated, thus assuring long-term stable conditions.

Its highly accurate measuring capacity, and 10,000 ppm measuring range, makes it very suitable for flexible and global applications. The company supplies the complementary application notes, to facilitate an uncomplicated incorporation of the sensor into the customer’s application.
