Cymatic-Holographic Imaging Technique Creates ‘What-the-Dolphin-Saw’ Image of Submerged Man

A dolphin’s echolocation beam was directed at a submerged man and the echo captured by a hydrophone system. The echo signal was sent to a sound imaging laboratory who created the first ever ‘what-the-dolphin-saw’ image of the submerged man, by using a cymatic-holographic imaging technique.

UCSD, Keysight Demonstrate Wafer-Scale 64- and 256-Element Phased-Array Transmitter for 5G Communications

Keysight Technologies, Inc., in collaboration with The University of California, San Diego (UCSD), has demonstrated the world’s first 64 (8 x 8) and 256-element (16 x 16), 60-GHz silicon wafer-scale phased-array transmitter with integrated high-efficiency antennas for Gbps communications at 100 to 200 meters.
