KERI and TowerJazz Partner to Develop CMOS Image Sensor

TowerJazz, the global specialty foundry leader, and the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI), a non-profit government-funded research institute in Republic of Korea, announced today an on-going collaboration on an R&D support program which has led to successful development of a CMOS image sensor which is ready for the commercial market.

The method may be useful in diverse fields, including precision machining and assembly, as well as in forensics.

Northrop Grumman Reports Successful Demonstration of Mine Detecting Sensor System

Northrop Grumman Corporation, in support of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command in Manama, Bahrain, announced the successful demonstration of an unmanned mine-hunting mission.
