Cirus Controls Wins Work Truck Show Innovation Award for GPS DataSmart Winter Maintenance Reporting System

The Work Truck Show® 2014 Innovation Award was presented last week to Cirus Controls for its GPS DataSmart™ winter maintenance reporting system. GPS DataSmart beat out more than 115 other new products to win the award at The Work Truck Show 2014, which was held March 5–7 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN.

Chinese Ministry Awards Regulatory Certification to Implant Sciences' QS-H150 Explosives Trace Detector

Implant Sciences Corporation, a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security and defense markets, announced today its QS-H150 handheld explosives trace detector has received an important regulatory certification in China from the Chinese Ministry of Public Security. Cameras with hyperspectral sensors can observe far more than the human eye. Unlike the retina, which has only three color receptors (red, green and blue), these sensors can generate 130 different color values per pixel. Using this high-grade color resolution, an entire range of different materials can be differentiated impeccably – even if, at first glance, they appear the same to the human eye.
