TEK Launches Improved Thermo Anemometers with Direct Flow Display

TEK Instrument Company, a web-based supplier of Controls, Instrumentation and Gauges, is offering a novel Thermo Anemometer, the Model 8906 with instant digital flow output.

Reed Instrument Company has developed the leading model which concurrently monitors and displays the velocity  and temperature of air apart from measuring the flow rate.

Reed offers a series of advanced products ranging from infrared thermometers and digital multimeters to thermo anemometers, which are well known for their reliability and high-performance. The new model allows the user to mark the dimensions of the target area and the anemometer in turn exhibits the measured rate of flow.

The anemometer also performs various averaging operations and can measure the average velocity of constantly moving air for a maximum of 2 h apart from multiple points averaging with a limit of 8 points. Other major characteristics of this unique model includes choice of engineering units, varying velocity and temperature values with minimum, average and maximum measurements, RS-232 interface, data storage and automatic shut down to enhance the durability of the  battery.

The measured values of parameters are exhibited on an easily readable, four-digit LCD having high contrast. The anemometer is available with a robust carrying casket. It offers a broad range of industrial applications encompassing the monitoring, repair, testing and verification of HVAC systems, external environmental factors, ventilation units, automotive plants, boiler rooms, fume hoods and maintenance of facilities.
